The short version: XmasTick does not collect your personal information. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything you set up in the app stays on your device.
XmasTick (“Christmas Countdown: XmasTick”) is made by Tech Interval LLC. If you have a question about this policy, write to xmastick@proton.me.
None. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and the app has no sign-in. We do not use analytics software, advertising networks, or third-party tracking of any kind.
Your choices are saved locally on your phone or tablet, and are not sent anywhere:
Deleting the app removes all of it.
Backgrounds, music and seasonal content are downloaded from our content servers, which are hosted on GitHub Pages and the jsDelivr content network. Like any request to any website, those services can see the internet address (IP address) your request came from and the file you asked for. We do not attach any identifier of our own to those requests, and we cannot tell one user from another.
Premium is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your card details, billing address, or account information. The app only receives confirmation of whether a purchase is active, and that confirmation is checked on your device.
The widgets read the countdown from a shared storage area on your own device. They do not send anything anywhere.
Reminders are scheduled by your device itself. There is no push server, and we cannot send you a message.
XmasTick is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
We have no data about you to share or sell, and we do not.
Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to see, correct or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. If you want the information stored on your device removed, deleting the app does it immediately.
If the app ever starts handling information differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
